No recoil requires writing to the games memory which is a risky detection vector, especially because the game is monitoring for that and comparing value with expected. Also there is another trap that COD does for that additionally

Even if that is all bypassed (it often is), the server side would have a field day with no recoil

So no with COD I don't do recoil control. My recommendation is just to use a gun config that reduces recoil and also use aimbot which helps a little bit

With CS2 I do simulate mouse on external and DMA for recoil control and it's fully safe
