How to get it to work in DMZ

So I am trying to get into DMZ with PO but when I open CoD on steam I have to then click on and open DMZ which closes the game and opens CoD DMZ. When DMZ opens, PO is no longer loaded anymore. Is there a way I can get PO to stay active after the game closes and opens again without having to open PO every time the game is launched?

Make sure you are using the MW2 cheat.
